Marketing and Sales Management leader with 28 years of experience. Experience in all areas of marketing including sales forecasting, budget development, creation of product marketing plans and materials, developing regional operations, building premier distribution markets, creating innovative packaging and advertising, and expanding into new industries and markets. My real estate marketing has successfully set realtors apart from their competitors by offering consistent, high quality design at affordable prices. I've designed flyers and brochures for everything from condominiums to mansions. The key to effective real estate marketing is consistency and quality. Depending on templates from the corporate office will not set you apart from the herd – utilizing individually designed pieces that reflect your personality and the qualities of the specific home you're listing will give you a design portfolio that brings new sales. Using sales and marketing expertise, converted former throwaway newspaper to a full color, glossy magazine as a holistic product with core product content, web presence, print and radio advertising and direct mail. Increased gross sales from $17,000 the year before purchasing the company to $240,000 in its first year as a magazine followed by more than $450,000 in its second year. Consistently exceeded company objectives achieving double-digit gains in revenues and profits. Built Marketing and Design firm from ground up resulting in 120 clients and $1,250,000 in annual sales at its height.
Moving past the fact that I've been doing advertising work for over 28 years, this resumé gives you insight into the fully-rounded nature of my experience. I've been described as a "Renaissance Man" given that my experience ranges from photography and graphic design to landscaping and restaurant work. I'm proud of all the jobs I've done. I always apply myself 100% to every job – no matter how easy or difficult – and pride myself as not being 'above' any kind of work. My community accolades include those from the City of San Jose and the California State Assembly for my business acumen and commitment to community service. They are listed at the end of this resumé. Truly, I am a worker among workers who does not mind rolling up my sleeves to get the job done.
